Drew Gilman
Andrew T. (Drew) Gilman has over 25 years of diverse professional experience, having initially spent 10+ years with leading M&A advisory firms in New York. Today, Drew is the Owner of Cranston Trucking, Cranston Logistics, and Cape Cargo. He is also a Principal at Free Street Holdings, where he acts as the primary seed investor in a start-up firm looking to invest equity capital in supply chain, logistics and distribution companies and opportunities in Southeast Asia. Drew previously served as owner, President, and Chairman of NEPW Logistics, Inc., a leading 3PL services firm serving the forest products industry in New England and Eastern Canada. He acquired the company in 2002, and as Owner/President made three strategic add-on acquisitions, opened new locations and signed numerous contract warehouse partnerships. He sold the company in 2014 to a private equity firm. NEPW now manages over 1 million square feet of warehouse space, operates the region’s largest paper converting service, and also operates an asset-light truck brokerage.
Prior to NEPW, Drew was a Director with Gleacher & Co., a boutique M&A advisory and private equity firm based in New York, advising corporates and private equity firms on large-cap M&A transactions in a variety of industries. Prior to Gleacher, Drew was a financial analyst in the M&A department at Morgan Stanley & Co. Drew holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth. He resides in Cape Elizabeth, ME with his wife and three children.
